The Reasons

According to an independent study, 27% of respondents actually regret exterior DIY projects. They originally hoped to save at least 60% on average of what they would have to pay a professional to do the project for them.

The same study continues that 21% were most disappointed that the additional trees and shrubs they planted outside their homes didn’t hold up over time. 50% or more also said that repairing the foundation, installing a new roof or patio/walkway, designing landscapes, painting the exterior, and installing cedar siding were either physically harder or took longer than anticipated.
